With the decision in 2005, to re-perform the musical at Easter 2006, and with encouragement from David Maegraith (and Rachel Maegraith), we felt it would be good to record the songs from Grunt professionally.
From early on, it had been my hope that if Grunt, the musical, went on to be performed widely, it would have no entrance cost charged. The sale of this CD, may help to fund such events.
If the listener of this CD experiences a fraction of the joy Wal and I felt, in the recording process, it will have been well worth the effort.

I would like to dedicate this CD to Rocky Romeo, 1/12/1932 -1/1/2003, now with the Lord.
I would also like to thank my wife, Elizabeth Romeo, without whom I could never undertake such a project, Wal (the first Grunt) and Elizabeth Spencer (Mrs.Grunt), David Maegraith, St Barnabas Church at Broadway (for allowing me rehearsal time), Dominic Bowen (the second Grunt), and all the many people and churches of Narrandera who keenly involved themselves in the first live production of this musical, an event I will always remember.
I really like this CD, I hope you do as well.
